The Austin Gipsy first appeared in 1958 as a direct competitor to the established Land Rover.
Initially available with an open top and canvas tilt with a 2.1 litre petrol engine that had started life in the Austin 16, the Gipsy received a cautious welcome. A diesel option soon followed and in Mk 11 form there was a long wheelbase and several bodywork options.
This model has been deleted and is no longer in production. Some stock is still available.
