Soviet Air Force Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum 1521st Air Base, Maryy-1 Air Base
The success of the US aggressor units did not go unnoticed in the Soviet Union. With t he 1521st, a similarly tasked unit was set up in Maryy, in today’s Turkmenistan.
